As part of the Brad Colbert real estate team, I take the lead in new home construction, land acquisition and development and commercial construction. Having spent almost 25 years as a city councilor and deputy mayor of St. John’s. I am eminently familiar with the entire process from zoning issues, land use requirements and residential development standards. I work closely with families building new homes and with developers acquiring land and constructing both commercial buildings and residential condominiums.
In the community I have served on the Boards of many charitable organizations and lend my expertise in marketing and fundraising. One of my prouder accomplishments was volunteering for a year as Build Chair for our local Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build. With a team of volunteers from around the world, we raised the funds and put together build teams that constructed 7 new homes in 7 days! I learned more about land acquisition, new home construction, finance and team building than I had ever known before.
I was also asked to represent the Newfoundland and Labrador Real Estate Board as their nominee on the national real estate insurance board to ensure the interests of all Newfoundland and Labrador realtors was represented.
